I agreed to buy the Volvo for $1950 after some minor back -and-forth over the past week .

The brakes are questionable as are the tires, so here’s to hoping they last 160 more miles. IPD’s big sale ends tomorrow so I should have enough time to wash & polish it and figure out what other things need to be fixed.

My initial goal is $1000, which should buy new brake pads & tires, a new wiper motor, a service manual, and probably some suspension upgrades.

Plan is to have it road-ready by the end of the month for Radwood in December and rally school in February. My transfer fell through at the last minute, so I got time and lots of it in a low cost-of-living town.

I’ve been keeping my eyes out for a good non running example. I got a 6L LS that is itching for a home. By the end of this month I will have all my other non automotive projects finished and I can concentrate more on finding one.

Sounds awesome! Does the blower motor work? That's a huge huge huge pain in the ass. And in my neck of the woods it has to work so the defrost works.
